Guests: Each semester we welcome you as guest student, for a change of degree within AdBK (‘Studiengangswechsel’), or as Erasmus incoming student.

We apologize in advance as there are too many requests and we want to concentrate on working with the students in the class.

Incoming ERASMUS

Please follow the procedure as described here: https://www.adbk.de/en/international/incoming-en/erasmus-incoming.html (Portfolio as described above)

Generelly we accept Erasmus exchange students for one semester, but places are very limited. Our working language in class is international English. Additional courses, such as in the theory department usually get taught in German.

Ph.D. Our class can not accept Ph.D. students, as our department has no accreditation. Hito Steyerl and Francis Hunger unfortunately can not provide Ph.D. mentorships. Students who already pursue a Ph.D. with other dedicated programs can apply as guest student or for class membership to be integral part of the class activities, but accept that our class is not a graduate school program.

Bauhaus University Weimar (+ their Media Theory Department), Hamburg University of Fine Arts (via Simon Denny), Mozarteum Salzburg (via Paul Feigelfeld), Die Angewandte Vienna, ZHdK (via Felix Stalder, Roland Meyer, Knowbotiq), Warwick CIM (via their faculty) – contact Francis to add more art+tech+society related Ph.D.s here!
